Streaming to Roku

We were ecstatic to hear that Roku secured $45M in funding from News Corporation. We have our own good news regarding Roku. Coming soon, our Roku Set Top Box module will be compatible with the Channel Manager thanks to our new Monster Transcoder service. Please check back as we will be releasing this service in the coming weeks.

Once you have the Roku module installed on your white-label TikiLIVE platform and the channel is set up, publishing content from your TikiLIVE platform is easy. Just follow these 3 steps from our manual.

Is your content free to watch or do you charge a subscription for it? If you would like to control content access to your viewers, you can make them register their Roku box with a confirmed account on your platform. For details on how to do this, please see this post.

Charging one-time or recurring monthly subscriptions for content on Roku is available as an extension of the Middleware Module. To read about how that module works please click here.
