About Monster Encoder

Monster Encoder is a turnkey application that integrates seamlessly into a network and converts the most common video types. These video files are converted into MP4 or Flash (FLV) format, so users can publish them in their channels and in their channel manager playlists. Monster Encoder uses a multi-threading technique making it one of the fastest double-pass encoder on the market today.

When the Monster Uploader is launched, a users will have the ability to browse their computers for media. If a single video is selected, they will have the option to set the Title and a description.

Select Video

Browse your computer for the videos that you would like to upload and encode. You can select one video, or by holding 'CTRL' you can select multiple videos to do a batch upload.

Customize Settings

Customize
You have the option to select from pre-defined encoding settings for Low, Medium or High Quality video. If you have something else in mind you can use the custom settings to manually select the resolution, aspect ratio, framerate, and bitrate.

Review Settings

Review
With your list of videos ready for uploading and encoding there is a final review before the process begins. Clicking "No! These are all the Videos. Let's Upload Them!" Begins the automated process for uploading the videos to the network and sending them through the encoder to be formatted.

As the person in charge (site admin) you'll have your own login panel to check out Monster Encoder behind the scenes.

Quickly and easily see a list of all videos that are currently being encoded or are in the queue to be encoded shortly.

Sort

Sort
For easy management of accounts you can filter all of the videos that have been encoded in the past. Sort by encoding status, date encoded, user account or with a text entry field for a specific title.

Enjoy

Enjoy
With the uploading and encoding complete, the video will be available for viewing as a Video On Demand or as part of a linear playlist using our Channel Manager.
