Eyepartner releases Electronic Program Guide (EPG) for TikiLIVE

Add-on allows users to search and filter LIVE free and premium content

Marathon, Fla.—Eyepartner has released an Electronic Program Guide (EPG) add-on for TikiLIVE, its flagship HD broadcasting platform that provides its users with a turnkey set of tools for managing live and video on demand HD streaming content.

The EPG automatically populates a broadcaster’s licensed content with channel information, a show description, and graphics.

“We wanted to make our broadcaster’s content even more accessible to TikiLIVE users,” said Tim Green, CEO and President of Eyepartner. “The EPG simplifies the management process for the broadcaster and the viewing process for the users.”

Using the built-in filters, users can search for categories of content, a specific show or channel, or the type of content (free vs. premium). Users can also tailor how the content and search results are displayed. With their mouse, users can hover over the content to get more detailed program information. The EPG also allows users to save an event to a user’s favorites or purchase premium content in advance.

The EPG is automatically populated using an XML data “scrape,” allowing the right information to be sorted, arranged, and displayed in an easy-to-use interactive guide.

With the EPG, broadcasters can:

• Pull channels from all over the world for distribution on their network
• Scrape the data for all events to automatically include in the scheduled lineup
• Provide an interactive viewer guide to find and search content
• Simplify the broadcaster’s management and the user’s search process
